On Saturday there are several things to do at Captain Whidbey:

  1. There is a small general store and coffee shop at Captain Whidbey that will be open on Saturday until 2 PM. They have a small selection of breakfast items and snacks. If you want a more substantial breakfast or lunch, we recommend heading into Coupeville.

  2. There will be a yoga class at the wellness studio at Captain Whidbey on Saturday at 9 AM. There is also a sauna next door!

  3. The Whidbey Island Kayaking company will have kayaks and paddleboards available to everyone at the Captain Whidbey dock on Saturday. If you’re traveling from Seattle, feel free to bring your own as well! There will be a guided tour of Penn Cove from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, please sign up here. There will also be kayaks and paddleboards to take out on your own from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, no sign up necessary. You can also swim off the dock at any time!
